This is the postcard from Kentucky I knew I was getting. They were the first people to respond to me via e-mail. Unfortunately, this was also before I started requesting postmarked postcards. But it's such a lovely postcard, I think I can manage.
Thanks goes out to Sue Stivers from the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce, which says that Columbia is a good place to call home! She sent me a brochure and postcard of a watercolor painted by current Columbia Mayor Pat Bell. The painting is of a historical log cabin in Knifely, which is 15 minutes out of Columbia. I personally think Knifely is the coolest name for a town ever! Without further ado, here it is:
