Welcome to Pleasanton, birthplace of the cowboy, according the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce's website. As you can see, they have a huge cowboy festival every third weekend in August. Looks like this last year was th 42nd annual Cowboy Homecoming, wow! I wonder how many cowboys showed up to the first one 42 years ago.
