Albany County, New York

I got this one from Albany, New York from the Albany County Convention and Visitor's Bureau. This now makes two counties that contain the state capital (the other one being Ada County, Idaho). According to their website, Albany "Looks like history, feels like a vacation." I enjoy both!

They advertise the "Million Dollar Staircase" as the capitol building and the "Egg" at the empire state plaza. I can't wait to visit! Here is the postcard, stating that in 2009 it will mark the 400th anniversary of the Dutch discovery of the Hudson River.

Laramie (Albany County), Wyoming

This next one is from the Albany County Tourism Board in Laramie, Wyoming. They have an especially attractive website, so make sure to check this one out.

This is a portrait of Mary Piper, the "Girl of the Plains." This photo was taken near Laramie, Wyoming, and the photograph is currently owned by the American Heritage Center.
